Trial has begun for Austrian writer Gerd Honsik charged with 28 counts of breaking laws that prohibit activities supporting the Nazi regime. Sentences handed down in Sierra Leone War Crimes. Three Revolutionary United Front Rebel Leaders received up to 52 years imprisonment for war crimes committed in Sierra Leone. Former Liberian president Charles Taylor, accused of training and funding the RUF rebels, is still on trial for his involvement in these war crimes. Full Report.
